Personally, I don't see the advantage of having everything in one repo. After all, hosting multiple repositories on the same master host will be approximately the same, without the downside of a complicated revision log. Many projects (I'm thinking of Android, for example) keep their discrete parts in separate repositories. I'm happy to keep a copy of my repo in a canonical location, though.
Also, I host my port's website from the same repository as the source. (I maintain the Android port).
