Hello, all. I ran into RobotFindsKitten about 6 months ago and
thought it to be incredibly cool! Recently, I came back for kicks (I
bookmarked the SourceForge project and forgot about it) and noticed new
development--a PalmOS port, which I found just as captivating as the
PalmOS port of Nethack/Rogue/Moria insert-text-character-adventure. So,
last night I sat down to play with some Java code--I have not written Java
applets since Java 1.0 or 1.1--and ended up experimenting with
RobotFindsKitten.
If anyone would like to check it out, I have it sitting on an unlinked
page over at my site: http://netninja.com/files/robotfindskitten/ The HTML
needs a lot more cleanup work (links to the source, to
robotfindskitten.org, monospace font in <pre> tags, etc), but the applet
is now functional.
I do not have cvs write access, so I will forward my additions to
Peter in another message, in case you guys want to add them to the main
tree.
 -E
