[rfk-dev] compiling rfk for 32-bit x86

I don't have time to do that right now, although I would definitely
prefer have the bug fixed than go through the process of discussing a
new codebase. 

If that means making this the "I Survived the Mayan Apocalypse and All
I Got Was This Lousy Release" release, that's fine with me. After all,
we do have a solid POSIX version.
