Automake sucks somethin’ fierce.
Someone on the rfk-dev list might know how to help you. (BTW, you
should get on the list:
http://robotfindskitten.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rfk-dev). I’ve
used automake/autoconf, long enough to find that it’s the most godawful
amalgamation of bailing wire and duck tape that I’ve ever encountered.
I now avoid it like the plague.
