I was perusing the robotfindskitten sourceforge site, and found that
someone had submitted a bug. Did we know about this?

"It might be good to set this package up with 
autoconf, so that it will build on systems like 
Solaris where "cc" is likely to find you something 
which is definitely not kitten. 

As a bare minimum, you should say $(CC) instead 
of cc, so that "make CC=gcc" works."
