OK. The public version is at http://slurl.com/secondlife/Noonkkot/23/113/51/ or within a few meters. Setup: The Game Control script is in the root prim, the Object Control Script goes in a prim named "kitten?" along with the messages.txt notecard (which I didn't include because the source to messages.h is GPL, but the Makefile in the tarball will make the messages.txt file). Then the kitten? prim goes in the root prim so it can be rezzed (created in the world) by the game control script. Play: Click the root prim, it will pop up dialogs for the size of the field (in meters) and the number of objects (including kitten). The objects are rotating letters you run into. When you find Kitten it says "Your Name found kitten!" and all the objects vanish. I was going to add a particle burst of hearts around you, and I may in a later version, but right now I'm coughing out my lungs and don't feel up to playing with particle systems.
